After a drought of more than a decade, Draisma Dynamo won the men’s volleyball championship title in the Netherlands.

After 11 years of drought, Draisma Dynamo can again call themselves the best men’s volleyball club in the Netherlands.

By defeating the Amysoft Lycurgus by a 3-1 (23-25, 28-26, 25-17, 25-20) at home in Apeldoorn in the 3rd and, as it turned out, the decisive game of the playoff finals of the 2020/21 Eredivisie, Dynamo got crowned as champions. The team coached by Redbad Strikwerda and which has a few Dutch National Team standouts in the roster, such as Sjoerd Hoogendoorn and Jeroen Rauwerdink, lost the opening match of the series before making a turnaround and winning the 13th national title.
