Defending champions Al-Arabi opened HH the Heir Apparent campaign with a bang by beating Al-Ahli in straight sets at their home court on Saturday. In the other match El Jaish defeated Al-Rayyan 3:1. WorldofVolley brings you the latest volleyball news.

Al-Arabi struggled in the beginning but managed to clinch the first set 27-25. Later on they had no problems to bag the other two sets 25-13 and 25-21.
In the other match, El Jaish got the better of Al-Rayyan 3:1 (25-23, 21-25, 25-22, 25-16).
The first match was officiated by Ibrahim Al Mahmud, while Ahmed Hussein took charge of the second match, Yousuf Kano, QVA Assistant Secretary General was the match referee.
