QAT M: Qatar opens World Cup Qualification campaign with a bang

Qatar opened the Volleyball World Cup Qualification for West Asian Zone campaign in style beating UAE in straight sets at home in the Al-Arabi sports club. This and other volleyball news read on Worldofvolley.com.

The scores revealed to be more of a one-sided affair as the hosts trounced their opponent 25-15, 25-18, 25-18.

The three-day qualification round which ends 7th June will also see Bahrain team competing in the same group.
As per the format, top two teams from each group will qualify for the second phase.

Mohammed Ali Al-Mohannadi, Secretary General of Qatar Volleyball Association welcomed the visiting teams and hope they enjoy their stay in Qatar while competing in the qualifier.

Al-Mohannadi also showed his confidence with the hosts’ national team to make it to the crucial round despite of some key players missing due to injury.
