Japan captain Momoka Oda: “We are so happy that we won. We fought and fought and now we are in the semifinals. I would like to thank everyone of our team and all our supporters.”

Japan coach Yasuhiro Fukuda: “It is unbelievable. We had a good defense today and we are now very happy to be among the best four in the world.”

Turkey coach Edman Gökhan: “We had chance to have semifinal spot, but we should have been better in attack. The junior level is different than the youth category that we won due years ago, we were better then. Congratulation to Japan.”

Turkey captain Damla Cakiroglu: “I’m so disappointed so I can’t say any word. Excuse me, but I simply cannot.”
