WCHJ M: Morocco sealed straight set win over Rwanda to finish 18th

Morocco dominated all the volleyball skills in their way to defeat Rwanda 3-0 (25-21, 25-10, 25-21) in the last match of the classification tournament for 17 to 20th positions at FIVB Men's U21 World Championship at “Ataturk Hall” in Izmir, Turkey.

Morocco revenged their defeat against Rwanda in the bronze medal match of the African Nations championship in Tunisia last March when Rwanda won also in straight sets to get the bronze.

After the victory Morocco secured the second position in the classification tournament with 1-2 win- loss ratio gaining 5 points.

Morocco proceeded Venezuela who has the same points and the same win-loss ratio because they had better set quotient 6-6 against 5-7 for Venezuela

Rwanda finished the competition in the last position with a win-loss ratio of 1-2 and 2 points.

The Moroccan outside hitter Zouhair El Graoui led his team scorers with 14 points and kept his position at the top of the tournament’s scorers.

Rwanda‘s captain Aimable Mutuyimana led his team scorers contributing 10 for his team.
