UPCN vs Panasonic Panthers

Great display from Argentinian team as the first three point are now in the book. It wasn’t easy. Panasonic Panthers are everything but an easy opponent. Kunihiro Shimizu led the Japanese with 21 points, while Theo Lopes got 20. What gave the win to UPCN was the insane amount of errors by Panasonic Panthers who made 32 (UPCN only mad 19).

After the first set which Panasonic won easily they just ran out of focus and energy. Like they were afraid to win this game and they’ve let UPCN to steal their win.

Even though Panasonic Panthers lost, there were some positive moments in their game and they certainly must try to focus on that part of the game going forward. As far as UPCN goes, win is a win and they should be happy with it. They’ve wanted to win more, showed character and will be a tough competitor.
