The U.S. women’s volleyball megastar Jordan Larson tickled the imagination of fans in the homeland about the continuation of her career in the national team.
Prior to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Jordan Larson said in numerous interviews that she will retire after the event, and not only from playing for the U.S. National Team but from playing volleyball, in general. However, the MVP of the Summer Games in the Japanese capital in which the United States took the gold medal, left a glimmer of hope of changing her mind.
Answering the questions of the On Her Turf podcast on NBC Sports, Larson referred to the success with the U.S. National Team in Tokyo and spoke of the possibility of participating in the 2024 Paris Games too.
“I’m proud of what I’ve been able to do and what our team was able to do. I love being in that environment. I’m not technically closing the door (of playing in Paris Olympics), but my body is telling me a little bit of a different story,” she said.
