Calcit Volley defeated Nova KBM Branik 3-1 (25-21, 17-21, 25-22, 25-20) in the decider of the final tournament of the 2021 Slovenian Women’s Volleyball Cup, held in the country’s capital of Ljubljana.
Calcit defeated the fiercest rivals in the country Branik in the gold medal encounter for the 2021 Slovenian Women’s Cup (Pokal Slovenije) in four sets in Ljubljana to win the fourth title in the competition. Last season, due to restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic and the obligations of the Slovenia National Team, there were no Cup winners in the country, and given they won the last played competition so far, in 2019, Branik were defending the trophy this year.
With 15 points, Bosnian international Andjelka Radišković top-scored Calcit in the decider with 15 points.
