The Bulgaria Men’s Volleyball National Team has a new head coach – its former long-time member as a player, Nikolay Jeliazkov.
Jeliazkov, who until now was the assistant to the Italian Silvano Prandi, was confirmed as the head coach of the Bulgaria Men’s National Team. The 51-year-old expert has agreed with the Bulgarian federation (BVF) to lead the national team from the Balkans until the end of the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. Jeliazkov is expected to make his debut at the helm of Bulgaria Men in the tournament of the FIVB Volleyball Nations League later this year.
The former long-time member of the Bulgaria National Team, playing as a middle blocker, will keep his job in the country’s club Neftohimik 2010, which he has been commanding since 2019.
