UPCN Vóley Club won the first title of the 2022–23 men’s club volleyball season in Argentina.
By winning the 2022 Argentine Super Cup (Supercopa ACLAV) in an intense final against Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires in Mar del Plata, UPCN Vóley Club won the first trophy of the club season in this South American country. The players from San Juan won 3-0, with partial of 25-23, 32-30, and 25-22. In this way, UPCN reached title number 24 in their history and took revenge on Ciudad for the lost match in last season’s Super Cup.
Manuel Armoa was the top scorer of UPCN and also of the match with 23 points. Flavio Rajczakowski excelled in blocking with 5 stuffs. The Argentina National Team star, Facundo Conte, led the Ciudad’s scoreboard with 16 points.
