Despite leading after the first and third sets, Mladost had to battle through a tie-break to clinch the win. With this victory, they secured second place in the standings, avoiding a semifinal clash with ACH.

“This match was very important for us. We needed a tough game against a strong opponent like ACH. When you play with passion and emotion, you can beat even the best,” said Mladost coach Radovan Gačić.

Đorđe Jovović led Mladost with 22 points, followed by Spyridon Chandrinos (19) and Mario Močić (9). For ACH, Amir Mohammad Golzadeh scored 25 points, while Klemen Šen added 16.

The Final Four lineup is now set: ACH Volley (1st), Mladost (2nd), SK Zadruga AICH/DOB (3rd), and OK i-Vet Maribor (4th). ACH will face Maribor in the semis, while Mladost takes on Zadruga AICH/DOB.

This marks ACH’s first MEVZA League loss this season, but they remain the top seed heading into the finals.
