After Three Decades, Dinamo Is Once Again Men’s Volleyball Champion

Dinamo Bucuresti has made history in Romanian men’s volleyball by clinching their 19th national championship title — their first since 1995. After thirty long years of close calls and endless efforts, Dinamo finally lifted the trophy again!
Dinamo delivered a dream season, finishing at the top of the regular standings with only three losses out of 20 matches. In the playoffs, they dominated every opponent: 2-0 against Știința Baia Mare, followed by another 2-0 sweep against an in-form SCM Zalău.
The finals against Corona Brașov were thrilling. Dinamo stayed strong under pressure, especially in Game 2, where they came back from a 0-2 deficit to win 3-2. In Game 3, with over 2,000 fans in the stands, Dinamo outlasted Corona in a five-set battle, led by Mircea Peța, who scored 27 points and was named MVP of the finals.
With this victory, Dinamo brings the championship title back to the capital after years and secures a spot in next season’s CEV Champions League qualifiers for the very first time!
