Korea captain Kim Yeon-Koung: “I feel terrific about our first victory. We were a little nervous and unfamiliar to deal with low balls at the beginning and that led us to fail. Fortunately my coach directed us very clearly and gave us confidence. We were able to get it over. Actually we have been training together just for a month so far and some of our players got injured. It means that we have to take care of lots of things at the same time. I am looking forward to the final already so I will keep myself in good shape for the long term.”
Thailand captain Wilavan Apinyapong: “First of all, I would like to send my congratulations to Korea. It was a very difficult match today. I found out that there are lots of techniques we have to practice and for sure, I will focus on them and do better.”
