Thailand and Vietnam have crossed the spears once again in the finals of the Southeast Asian Games with the same outcome!

Just like two years ago in Myanmar, Thai team was better than Vietnam in straight sets – 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-25) in one hour and two minutes of a slow battle.

Thailand established dominance in „OCBC Arena“ in Singapore from the very start end kept the pace until the finish with 26 points from Onuma Sittirak! Ajcharaporn Kongyot was the only remained player with double didgits in the wining team – 13.

In Vietnamese team, Thị Ngà Bùi was the most efficeint with 9 points.

This is the sixth gold medal of Thai national team in the history of the tournament (third in a row) which puts then as second best, behind Indonesia who has 8 titles.
