The victory earned the defending champions a 3-0 win-loss record and a direct ticket to the semifinals while the USA had to settle for a berth in the quarterfinals with a 2-1 ratio.
The defeated side allowed 31 points via unforced errors, ten more than the winners.
Adenízia finished with 19 points, respectively, as Brazilian top scorer, while Krista Vansant led five USA players with double digits in the scores with 20 points.
Puerto Rico outclassed Peru in straight sets 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-23) to grab third place in same pool and a qualification for the quarterfinal.
Karina Ocasio in Puerto Rico had 14 points. Ángela Leyva collected 14 for Peru who was eliminated from the competition.
