De Kuip
While waiting for the beginning of the EuroVolley semifinals, we decided to visit the most popular sports club in Rotterdam – FC Feyenoord. On our way to the famous stadium De Kuip, we could see locals wearing jerseys of club legends Robin Van Persie and Dirk Kuyt. Quite normal here in Rotterdam, but with one big difference than during the usual weekend. Those were not the red and white jerseys of Feyenoord… They were the orange ones of the Dutch national team!
Today the city symbol stands together with Giovanni Guidetti and his girls, and the red and white army of Feyenoord fans turns Orange. The famous De Kuip stays empty, while Ahoy Arena will be packed to the last seat.
