“We can and we should win the match against the Czech Republic. That is the main game for us. I’m happy to be in the same pool with the hosts. That means that we will play in front of packed stands and in addition, I think that we can play well. Furthermore, Germany is for me the favorite of this tournament. They are booming at the moment,” Gido Vermeulen, the head coach of the Netherlands, said ahead of Eurovolley.
“Oranje” took 10th place on a previous continental championship and they are eager to repeat the success of their lady colleagues, who won silver at European Championship, a few days ago.
