Eczacıbaşı vs. Casalmaggiore
Italian champions Pomì Casalmaggiore outplayed Eczacıbaşı VitrA İstanbul in Pool C 3-2 (25-22, 25-18, 13-25, 25-27, 15-11) with 22 points from German Margareta Kozuch and 15 from Valentina Tirozzi.
Even 26 points from Serbian opposite hitter Tijana Bošković and 7 blocks from Croatian middle blocker Maja Poljak weren’t enough for Eczacıbaşı who returned to the match led by the home crowd.
Jordan Larson-Burbach and Neriman Özsoy added 18 points each for Turkish team.
