Beijing vs. Sichuan

Sichuan were those to break Beijing’s winning streak of 18 games (including regular season) 3-1 (25-21, 25-23, 25-27, 25-23) thanks to 19 points from Polish-born Italian Michał Łasko.

On the other side, the Australian Thomas Edgar stood out with 30 points. This win was not enough for Sichuan to settle on the third place in the standings. If Sichuan fail to achieve that in the final round they will face today’s rivals in playoff semifinals as fourth-seeded.

Shanghai also secured their position previously. They will start title campaign as second-placed. Nevertheless, Shanghai want to finish Top 8 in style, so they beat Bayi 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-18). Italian duo Savani Sabbi scored 14 points each in winning team. Tang Chuanhang had 16 in Bayi.

Shandong needed a win worth three points to go to the third place on the table and they achieved it over Jiangsu 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-16).
