CEV releases World Championships 2018 men’s and women’s qualification formula

The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) has announced the formula of the European men’s and women’s qualifications for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball World Championships!

With 2014 gold medallists Poland (pictured) and hosts Italy and Bulgaria already qualified to the 2018 Men’s World Championship, an additional 39 teams have registered to participate in the qualification where another seven tickets to the Final Round will be up for grabs.

As for the women’s World Championship, as many as 42 European teams are involved in the qualification process with eight tickets to Japan up for grabs.

The men’s World Championship 2018 will take place in Italy and Bulgaria while women’s World Championship 2018 will be held in Japan. More on CEV.
