After losing two friendly games to France, last week, the National Team of Iran beat China.

Iran confronted China and managed to heal wounds suffered from defeats against big rivals France in previous two friendlies as part of preparations for the World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Tokyo, Japan – 3-2 (25-18, 23-25, 30-28, 17-25, 15-9).

The game, which was very close, took place at the Chiba University Gymnasium, in Chiba City, Japan.  Raúl Lozano, the head coach of Iran, spread minutes evenly on the court to all of his players against China, except injured Shahram Mahmoudi.

In the next 48 hours, Iran’s NT will play with European powerhouse Poland in another friendly game.

The Qualification Tournament for 2016 Rio Olympics is due to start on Saturday, May 28.
