The hosts once again wanted to thrill home crowd at packed stands of “Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium” (10,000 spectators) while The Netherlands saw it as a challenge. Thus, their coach Giovanni Guidetti sent the best line-up to battle Japan.
Home team prevailed in a five-set thriller with Miyu Nagaoka highlighting – 25 points. Saori Kimura added 17. In the Dutch team, Lonneke Slöetjes topped with 32 points. Celeste Plak contributed with 17.
As it is already known – Italy, The Netherlands, Japan and Korea will go to 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. CONGRATULATIONS!
