Mursa Osijek, the current Croatian champions, showed their class with a commanding 3-0 (18, 19, 15) win over Centrometal at home. Though the visitors kept up early in each set, Osijek’s quality soon took over, wrapping up the match in 83 minutes.
On the road, Mladost displayed similar dominance against Sisak, earning a quick 3-0 (8, 20, 15) victory in just 74 minutes. The Zagreb side allowed only eight points in the opening set and stayed in full control until the end.
The most thrilling clash came in Slavonski Brod, where Marsonia battled past Rijeka in a five-set marathon, winning 3-2 (23:25, 25:14, 26:24, 21:25, 16:14). Both sides fought hard, but Marsonia held their nerve in the decisive moments to take the victory.
A surprise came in Kaštela, where Ribola Kaštela fell to Rovinj 1-3 (25:23, 22:25, 23:25, 20:25) despite taking the first set. Rovinj responded strongly, controlling the rest of the match with consistent play and composure.
In Varaždin, Dinamo Zagreb continued their winning run, defeating Cratis Varaždin 3-1 (25:21, 25:17, 26:28, 25:17). After dropping the third set narrowly, Dinamo quickly regained focus to finish the job.
