Puerto Rico
This was a historic day for Puerto Rico’s volleyball. Women’s national team for the first time qualified to the Olympic Games.
In the last match of the tournament they defeated Kenya in the straight sets 25-8, 25-23 and 25-15 in front of a home crowd.
Karina Ocasio was the best scorer in the winninge team with 15 points while Kenya’s Noel Murambi finished match with 12 points.
