Netherlands coach Giovanni Guidetti: ”It was an incredible match. I am very happy for my team’s victory today. Although we were down two sets, we managed to come back. My players showed good attitude and did not to give up even though we had little chances. I told them as long as the game is not over, there is still a chance. We have lost to Russia many times. When you play against them, you don’t have a lot of choices. Today we tactically changed the players often and we were successful. I am very proud of my team. We will try to play better in the Olympic Games.

Russia coach Yuri Marichev:Congratulations to the Netherlands. They played very well today. We will study our mistakes from today’s match in order to improve and prepare better for the Olympic Games.”
