Former Peruvian NT prospect Diana Gonzales, runner-up at the Youth South American Championship and bronze medalist at the 2010 Girl’s Youth Olympic Games, has big chances to become President of Peruvian Volleyball Federation instead of Luis Linares. It means that a 24-year-old lady would be at the helm of Peruvian volleyball until the next Olympic Games, in Tokyo 2020.
After playinhg in her homeland for Club Sporting Cristal, Gonzales decided to continue her educational career in the United States at FAMU (Florida A&M University, USA) where she obtained a degree in Business Administration and holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration).
The elections for new President of Peruvian VF will be held on September 30.
