Two teams currently competing in the CEV Volleyball Champions League stood in front of each other in the men’s final.

Knack ROESELARE stormed to a 2-0 lead (25-19, 25-23) in their matchup with Noliko MAASEIK but trailed 7-15 in the third set, with the Argentinean-born Nicolas Bruno leading the way for Noliko.

Some substitutions asked by the coaching staff of Knack broke Noliko’s rhythm and ROESELARE eventually emerged victorious with the help of their top scorer Hendrik Tuerlinckx – and with Gert Jan Claes sealing the final 26-24 with an ace.
