Next, the case of Simon and Leal was directed to the FIVB Disciplinary Committee. The judicial authority of FIVB has maintained two-years suspension of these players, so they had to take a short break from professional volleyball. However, they could left his homeland and it was a key question for both ‘outlaws’. Robertlandy Simon moved to Italy, where he started working with Copra Piacenza.

Simon has trained with Copra Piacenza for a few months and then he signed a contract with one of the major candidate for the championship of Italy. However, not only did the middle-blocker find a new place of employment, but Leal also has not been forced to search a club for a very long time. The champion of Brazil, Sada Cruzeiro, immediately brought the receiver providing him a lucrative financial conditions.

Joandry Leal will already debut in the jersey of Sada in the upcoming Club World Championships in Doha. The Cuban and his teammates will face Trentino Volley, Tiger N. Leon, and the host Al-Rayyan Doha in the group stage.
