In a decisive game, Poland defeated Russia in five-sets to give an injection of optimism to the fans before the start of the World Championship.
It was a very good game for the fans of Poland who almost lost their hope after seeing Russia taking the lead after the third set!
However, we watched a completely different performance as of the fourth set! They started playing much better, without leaving a space to Russia to make a comeback or to win a game.
Artur Szalupk was named MVP of the tournament.
