The Polish Men’s Volleyball side ONICO Warszawa will part ways with their head coach Stéphane Antiga at the end of the season.

Despite the fact that he brought ONICO to the Plus Liga 2018/2019 playoff finals, which is not over yet, the French expert Antiga will not extend the contract with the club from the Polish capital. That’s what ONICO President Piotr Gacek stated recently.

Media in Poland and Italy speculate that Andrea Anastasi will replace Antiga at ONICO bench after parting ways with Trefl Gdańsk. The Italian coach is familiar with the volleyball in Poland, knowing that he was at the helm of the country’s Men’s national team from 2011 to 2013 and of Trefl in the last four seasons.

As for Antiga, he will probably find a new job soon. He will stay in Poland and take over PGE Skra Bełchatów who plan to terminate the collaboration with Italian Roberto Piazza.

It’s quite sure that Anastasi will coach Onico, it is known since a few months. The question is which club gonna hire Anitga?
