Budowlani
The vice-champions Grot Budowlani Łódź recorded their fourth win to keep up with Developres SkyRes Rzeszów and Grupa Azoty Chemik Police, the other two undefeated sides in the 2019/20 Liga Siatkówki Kobiet regular season. In Round 3, they swept the home side of Wisła Warszawa by a 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-13).
The newly-promoted team in the Polish top division is still winless but there is a good reason for this. Due to procedural reasons, they were deprived of the help from three foreign players since the beginning of the season: Ukrainian Olena Novgorodchenko (fifth season in the club) and Brazilian duo of newcomers Joycinha – Niki Del Rio. Novgorodchenko’s compatriot Anastasiya Kraiduba top-scored for Budowlani with 22 points. Aleksandra Lipska scored 10 for Wisła.
