Warszawa imposed dominance on one of the most difficult home courts in the PlusLiga and defeated Jastrzębski by a 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-20). It was truly a derby of Round 4 knowing that the team from the Polish capital finished last season as runners-up while Jastrzębski won the bronze medal. The guests once again proved that they are ready to fight for the title and that the danger of not taking part in the league this season left no mark on the players. Bartosz Kwolek was Warszawa’s top scorer with 16 points.
Due to the fact that Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle dropped one set in the win against Aluron Virtu CMC Zawiercie, Warzswa took the lead in the charts. Both Warszawa and ZAKSA are unbeaten (4-0) and equal in points (12) and set-ratio (12-2) but ex-ONICO have a better point-ratio.
