A duel of Round 5 of the 2019/20 Liga Siatkówki Kobiet regular season between the leaders in the charts Chemik and last-placed Wisła was supposed to be an easy job for the favorites. However, the team from the Polish capital, who lost all four matches which they played and took only one set prior to today’s encounter, forced Chemik to work hard to record the win.

Ultimately, the team from Police prevailed in four sets, partially 21-25, 25-19, 25-18 and 25-15 to reach 8-0 and remain at the top of the charts. Cuban Wilma Salas stood out for Chemik with 24 points. Aleksandra Lipska scored 16 points for Wisła.
