“European volleyball in this age group is varied. In the qualifying competition, which we won in England, Israel and Portugal clearly stuck out from the Bulgarian, Polish and Slovak. For me the surprise is the presence of Austria, with whom we played in December. They qualified ahead of the Netherlands and Spain. This result is a surprise to me” Wieslaw Czaja said.
Drawing for the youth championship is scheduled for January 18. “We will study the rivals from our group and begin a detailed program of preparation. Finding suitable sparring partners for friendly games should not be a problem. Poland is a respected opponents in the international arena, and many teams want to play us” highlighted Wieslaw Czaja.
Kacper Piechocki plays for AZS Czestochowa and already has experience in the Plus Liga.
