The eight-time Polish men’s volleyball Championship winners, Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, parted ways with Simone Parodi.

ZAKSA said goodbye to a player that had a huge contribution to their results last season (winning the Polish Super Cup, first in the PlusLiga at the moment of the suspension of the season). The 33-year-old former Italy National Team member Parodi is no longer a member of the club from Kędzierzyn-Koźle.

The outside hitter was very productive in 2019/20 but due to the limitations of the use of foreigners in the Polish competitions, he was forced to prove himself mostly in the matches of the CEV Champions League.
