The reigning Polish women’s volleyball Championship winners, Grupa Azoty Chemik Police, have signed a contract with the MVP of the 2011 CEV EuroVolley, Jovana Brakočević-Canzian.

An experienced Serbian opposite hitter Brakočević-Canzian has officially joined Poland’s Chemik, who beat the league rivals DevelopRes SkyRes Rzeszów in obtaining her signature. The 32-year-old player spent the last season in Italy’s Igor Gorgonzola Novara.

Thus, the MVP of the 2011 CEV European Championship (won the gold medal with the Serbia National Team) returned to playing in Poland after a year (Grot Budowlani Łódź in 2018/19, top scorer and Best Attacker of the Liga Siatkówki Kobiet).

The arrival of the one-time CEV Champions League and FIVB Club World Championship MVP closed the roster of Chemik for the 2020/21 season.
