Jastrzebski
In the match of the 8th round of the 2020/21 PlusLiga regular season, Jastrzębski swept Trefl at home by a 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 33-31).
The hosts played very well and had a good test before the start of the 2nd Round of the CEV Champions League qualifiers, scheduled for next week. Trefl lost the third match in a row – all to the title contenders: ZAKSA, Skra, and Jastrzębski. For the Jastrzębie-Zdrój side, today’s game was the first after nearly a month.
Moroccan Mohamed Al Hachdadi put down 19 points through 75 % (18/24) for Jastrzębski. The Frenchman Yacine Louati made 71 % reception (29 % perfect). Mateusz Mika scored 12 points for Trefl, while Mateusz Janikowski had 77 % reception (15 % perfect).
This duel and a duel between VERVA Warszawa ORLEN Paliwa and GKS Katowice (held on October 18) were the only ones in the schedule of this round. All the other matches were postponed.
