VakıfBank were ruthless to Fenerbahçe Opet in Round 11 of the 2020/21 Turkish Women’s Volleyball Championship.

The pre-season draw determined that the ‘Big Four’ teams of the Turkish women’s volleyball are to lock horns in Round 11 of the 2020/21 Misli.com Sultanlar Ligi regular season.

Galatasaray HDI Sigorta stunned Eczacıbaşı VitrA, yesterday. Today, VakıfBank wrecked Fenerbahçe Opet at home, broke the rival’s seven-game winning streak, and made 9 of 9 in the competition: 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-20). VakıfBank is the only undefeated team in the Sultanlar Ligi, winning 12 of the last 15 matches against Fenerbahçe.

The Swede Isabelle Haak top-scored the winning side with 22 points, while Zehra Güneş set up 6 blocks. Cuban Melissa Vargas tallied 13 points for the ‘Yellow Angels’.
