Imoco Volley Conegliano crushed one more rival in the 2020/21 Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile regular season.

A duel against Saugella Monza valid for Round 7 could’ve been a ‘landmine’ for the reigning world club champions but it faced the resistance only in the second set: 3-0 (25-16, 25-23, 25-14). Imoco drop only one set on their way to a 6-0 record in the league. Paola Egonu collected 17 points on the winning side.

Igor Gorgonzola Novara nearly completely squandered a two-set advantage in the big match against Savino Del Bene Scandicci.

Led by the Pole Magdalena Stysiak (36 points), Scandicci pushed the match to the tie-break but lost it. Belgian Britt Herbots (4 blocks) and Caterina Bosetti (4 aces) scored 22 points apiece for Novara who broke the rival’s three-game winning streak.
