Radomka-vs-Budowlani
In a duel of the vice-leaders and third-placed side in the 2020/21 Polish Women’s TAURON Liga regular season standings, Radomka defeated Budowlani by a 3-1 (16-25, 25-21, 27-25, 26-24) in the 15th round. Thus, Radomka got tied with the leaders Developres SkyRes Rzeszów at 34 points. At the same time, they broke Budowlani’s winning streak that lasted for more than three months and consisted of 12 games (11 in the league and one in the Super Cup).
Brazilian Bruna Honório top-scored Radomka with 19 points but had rather unsatisfying effectiveness in the attack of 39 % (19/49). On the other side, American Veronica Jones-Perry excelled with 38 points, which she obtained from 67 attacks! Małgorzata Lisiak set up 4 blocks.
Led by Serbian Jovana Brakočević-Canzian (24 points but only 30 % attack) and Dutch Indy Baijens (7 of the team’s 22 blocks), the champions Grupa Azoty Chemik Police came back from 0-2 to 3-2 against BKS BOSTIK Bielsko-Biała.
