The first match of the series of the 2020/21 Polish Women’s TAURON Liga playoff finals, won by Developres (3-2), was an excellent advertisement for Game 2, which had the same level of excitement.
The reigning champions Chemik were under great pressure tonight as they would give away the throne to the rivals in case of suffering a defeat. And the Police side was going that path as Developres gained a 2-0 lead in sets. However, Chemik succeeded in extinguishing the fire, won a duel (3-2: 21-25, 21-25, 25-22, 25-16, 15-13), and tied the series at 1-1.
Serbian Jovana Brakočević-Canzian scored 26 points for Chemik. Trinidadian and Tobagonian Sinead Jack-Kisal set up 4 blocks.
