Despite committing plenty errors during the whole match, the superiority of Poland in the areas of serve and blocking gave the victory to the European side.
Alexander Sliwka paced the winners with 17 points, including three aces, while team captain Bartosz Bucko and Rafal Szymura contributed 12 and 10 respectively. Tunisia’s Mohamed Kbaier led the defeated side with 8 points.
Poland held a wide advantage of 8-3 in blockings and blanked the opponents in the aces category 7-0. The winners gave away 30 points via errors to 20 by the losers.
