European powerhouses Poland continued their invincible run in the Girls’ U18 World Championship at the Liptapanlop Hall after registering an epic 3-2 (25-23 23-25 24-26 25-14 15-12) victory over in-form Argentina in their Pool B clash on Sunday.

World No.6 Poland, which led Pool B with five points from two wins against no loss, opened up their explosive attacks right from the beginning of the first set, while Argentina, the surprising 3-0 winners over Asian champions Japan the previous match, counter-attacked well. The tussle ended in a thrilling hard-fought affair 25-23 in favour of Poland.
