FRIENDLIES W: Poland and Germany played two sparrings, result 1-1

In preparations for European Championship (September 6-14), Polish national team played the two friendlies with Germany who is one of the co-organizers of this tournament along with Switzerland.

In the first, Poland won 3-1 (26-24, 28-26, 29-27, 23-25), but in the second match they suffered defeat with the same result (25-19, 26-24, 27-29, 25-23).

In two away games against Germany, coach Piotr Makowski put on different starting line-ups. In the first, these players were included in the starting line-up: Milena Radecka, Katarzyna Konieczna, Zuzanna Efimienko, Joanna Kaczor, Ewelina Sieczka, Maja Tokarska and Dorota Medyńska (libero).

In the second: Joanna Wołosz, Kinga Kasprzak, Agnieszka Kąkolewska, Katarzyna Skowrońska-Dolata, Karolina Różycka, Monika Martałek and Paulina Maj (libero).

Polish national team now returns to the country and on Monday they will go to Germany for the European Championships.

“White and red” will face in Schwerin with Czechs (September 6), Bulgarians (September 7) and Serbians (September 8). All matches will start at 8-00 PM.
