We are happy with what we have showed in this fundamental. We are of course very happy to win this game in straight sets and we can start our preparations for the next round where we play the team from Lodz.”
“After the very weak performance we had showed last week in Wroclaw we had a very short time to improve” said SOPOT coach Teun Buijs. “I am happy that we had fewer problems with our attack and were able to show good consistency in this fundamental. I am satisfied because we have done a good job. We could control this game all the way through from start to the end by combining good serving, a solid reception and efficient blocks. We could keep cool also in the third set where my players fought their way back to wrap it up in three sets.”
