Cuccarini
Officials have sacked Mariusz Wictorowicz, and hired Giuseppe Cuccarini as new head coach.
“This is the result of a long discussion. We came to the conclusion that it is necessary to make the next step. Our goal is to win the Polish Championship, and build a strong and internationally recognized team which will be successful in the Champions League. I believe that the new coach will meet our expectations” stated Joanna Zurowska, president of Chemik Police.
Cuccarini has excellent results in career, and many trophies with Bergamo, Reggio Calabria, Eczacibasi… However, it is still strange to see club changing coach after only two defeats in the whole season.
Time will tell if this is a good move.
