In an action-packed 22nd round of the PlusLiga, Indykpol AZS Olsztyn secured a important 3-1 victory against Asseco Resovia, boosting their playoff ambitions. The match, held at Urania Hall, saw Moritz Karlitzek lead the scoring with 20 points, closely followed by teammates Alan Souza with 16, and Manuel Armoa with 11 points. Despite Stephen Boyer’s 19 points for Resovia, it wasn’t enough to turn the tide. Olsztyn libero Jakub Hawryluk was named MVP of the match, highlighting an intense clash that ended in set scores of 25-21, 18-25, 26-24, and 25-20 in favor of Olsztyn.

In a surprising turn of events, league leaders Jastrzębski Węgiel suffered a 0-3 defeat to Barkom-Każany Lwów, marking their third loss of the season. Vasyl Tupchii of Barkom-Każany Lwów stole the show with a stellar performance, earning the MVP title with 17 points. The match ended in straight sets (17-25, 23-25, 25-27), in favour of Barkom-Każany Lwów.

Meanwhile, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie continued their strong season with a 3-1 win over KGHM Cuprum Lubin. Bartosz Kwolek led the scoring for Aluron CMC with 19 points. The victory solidifies Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie’s second place in the PlusLiga standings, just three points behind Jastrzębski Węgiel. KGHM Cuprum Lubin, struggling near the bottom of the league, fought hard but could not overcome the challenge, despite a commendable effort in the third set.
