In an start to the 2024/2025 Polish volleyball club season, BKS Bostik ZGO Bielsko-Biała defeated Lotto Chemik Police 3-0 to win the AL-KO Supercup in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. The match saw Bielsko-Biała dominate with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, and 25-21, marking their third Supercup title in history.
Bielsko-Biała, the 2024 Polish Cup winners, entered the game as favorites against Chemik Police, a team that has struggled with significant roster changes due to financial issues. Chemik Police, despite past successes, was unable to keep up with Bielsko-Biała’s strong attack and defensive blocks.
Key performers included Giulia Angelina, who was named MVP with 18 points, including 16 kills and 2 blocks, while Kertu Laak and Julita Piasecka contributed 12 and 10 points, respectively.
