The Tauron Liga playoffs kicked off with a major upset as ITA Tools Stal Mielec defeated ŁKS Commercecon Łódź 3-1 (23:25, 22:25, 25:18, 27:29) in the first quarterfinal match. The second-seeded ŁKS fell to the seventh-placed Stal, shaking up expectations for the playoffs.

The standout performer of the night was Oliwia Sieradzka, who led Stal with 30 points, earning the MVP award with an impressive 48% attack efficiency, four aces, and three blocks. For ŁKS, Zuzanna Górecka (22 points) and Anastazja Hryszczuk (21 points) fought hard but couldn’t turn the tide.
The best-of-three series now moves to Mielec for Game 2 on March 27, where Stal has the chance to complete a stunning quarterfinal upset.
BKS Bostik Bielsko-Biała Claims First Win Over Radomka
In another quarterfinal clash, BKS Bostik ZGO Bielsko-Biała defeated Moya Radomka Radom 3-1 (25:27, 25:20, 25:22, 25:22). Despite Radomka taking the first set, Bielsko-Biała responded strongly to take control of the match.
Julita Piasecka starred with 27 points, while Monika Gałkowska led Radomka with 25 points. The series continues in Radom on March 24, with Radomka looking to force a decisive third game.
