PGE Grot Budowlani Łódź opened their Tauron Liga quarterfinal series with a commanding 3:0 win over Metalkas Pałac Bydgoszcz (25:21, 25:18, 25:8). The home team looked sharp from start to finish, taking control early and never letting go.
Terry Enweonwu was the standout, scoring 16 points and earning MVP honors. She was backed by Paolina Damaske with 14 points and Karolina Drużkowska with 11.
Bydgoszcz fought hard in the first set but couldn’t keep up with Łódź’s power. The third set was especially one-sided, ending in a dominant 25:8 . With this strong start, Budowlani Łódź take a big step toward the semifinals.
